Hot breakfasts at the synagogue.
More than 30 people come to our synagogue for morning prayer. Many of them are elderly people in need, whom we provide a hot kosher breakfast and pay a small stipend of $7-8 per person.
The kolel program thus costs $3,000 a month. Thanks to your help, these people will not only be able to fulfill a mitzvah, but also to survive in the conditions of the poorest country in Europe.
Shabbat observance is one of the most important commandments of the Jewish people. Every Shabbat our congregation welcomes about 50 people to whom we provide three Shabbat meals. The cost of this program is up to $5,000 per month.
